Urban Cellar hosted Mario and Antonio Ruiz-Clavijo, owners of Bodega Marquez de Arviza for a night of great wine, amazing food, and good cheer! 5 different wines from this outstanding wine producer from La Rioja Spain.  Mario shared how these wines were made, where they were grown, and the history of this beautiful winery. Bodegas Marques de Arviza is the second oldest winery in the Rioja Valley, Spain, dating back to 1874! Over the years, the winery has developed a reputation for producing outstanding wines, and thanks to Flegores Wine Importers, we finally get to try them here in Iowa.

Chef Nick dished out 5 courses of delicious Mediterranean cuisine to accompany these delightful wines.
